Congratulations to the Children and Family Health Surrey Immunisations team for giving the flu vaccine to 116,091 children across Surrey over this winter period.
Veronica Evans, Clinical Service Manager Immunisations, Children and Family Health Surrey said, “Well done to our Immunisations team! This is a fantastic achievement, and I would like to thank the ongoing commitment and outstanding hard work of the nurses, team leaders and amazing administrative team in vaccinating so many children across Surrey.”
The Children and Family Health Surrey Immunisations team gave Surrey children the following:
- 68,827 primary school children received the nasal flu immunisation and 1,008 received the injectable flu vaccine.
- 45,325 secondary school children received the nasal flu immunisation and 885 received the injectable flu vaccine.
- 58 pre-school/nursery children also received the nasal flu immunisation and 4 received the injectable flu vaccine.
