Children and Family Health Surrey has launched new videos and webpages today to support toddlers, children and teenagers across Surrey with sleep.
A series of four videos has been produced for parents and carers featuring nurses and sleep experts from Children and Family Health Surrey.
Jointly funded by Children and Family Health Surrey and Surrey County Council, the videos are suitable for toddlers, children and teenagers including those with additional needs and learning disabilities, and give advice, information and tips for supporting sleep. Visit the new sleep section on the Children and Family Health Surrey website to watch the videos.
Trudy Mills, Director of Children and Family Health Surrey said: “We know that many children and young people in Surrey have sleep difficulties – these excellent videos and website resources will provide much-needed advice and support for parents and carers across Surrey.
These videos and webpages build on the success of workshops held by specialist school nurses in Surrey to support the sleep of children with learning disabilities.
Families with children from birth to 19 years old can call the Surrey-wide 0-19 Advice Line on 01883 340 922 for support on all aspects of child health, development and parenting including sleep. The Advice Line is available from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
