New Inclusion Health webpage

A new Inclusion Health webpage has launched today, providing useful information and resources for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities, Showmen and Boaters, families in temporary, emergency accommodation and Asylum-Seeking families living in Surrey.

The specialist team of health visitors, school nurses and community nursery nurses visit vulnerable families who are not currently connected to routine healthcare services, such as a GP Practice. They deliver services across various community settings including houses, hostels, hotels, on sites and unauthorised encampments.

Along with building trusted relationships with communities during their visits, the team provides new birth visits, blood pressure checks, dental health advice, developmental reviews, immunisations and have expertise in dealing with modern slavery, trafficking and exploitation and domestic abuse.

The webpage includes new videos, information about accessing the service, feedback from families and healthcare partners and useful links to other local services.
