19 - 25 November is Road Safety Week, supporting the safety of those on two wheels and encouraging everyone to be Bike Smart.
Cyclists and motorcyclists are particularly vulnerable on the roads and more than a third of people killed or seriously injured on the roads are travelling by bike.
Road crashes are one of the biggest causes of death and serious injury among children and young people. Dangerous roads also have a major impact on their ability to walk, cycle and live healthy active lifestyles.
It's important to develop children's awareness, plus road safety is a great topic to engage children of all ages, while meeting curriculum goals! Watch the 'We love to cycle' animation to share with your children.
